Note
On 1st June 1849, Mark and his two sons, Mark and William, signed a 99 year lease on some land from George Edward Arundell Moncton Arundell, Viscount Galway. The land was on Allet Common in Kenwyn, and Mark had built a dwelling-house and enclosed 3 acres. The lease was transferred to Jn. Messer Bennetts of Truro, Solicitor, in 1905.
