This is a transcription of Patience' will:

In the High Court of Justice
The District Probate Registry at Winchester
BE IT KNOWN that Patience Adelaide Searle of 32 London Road Camberley Surrey widow died there on the 7th day of December 1960.

AND BE IT FURTHER KNOWN that the date hereunder written the last Will and Testament.
(a copy whereof is hereunto annexed) of the said deceased was proved and registered in the District Probate Registry of the High Court of Justice at Winchester at that the Administration of all the estate which by law devolves to and vests in the personal representative of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid Court to
DOUGLAS GRAHAM CARMICHAEL of Lloyds Bank Chambers Camberley aforesaid Solicitor and ARTHUR JAMES SEARLE of Highfield Collage Ride Camberley aforesaid Company Director son of deceased and RONALD SAMUEL SEARLE of Windle Oak London Road Windlesham Surrey Company Director son also of deceased the executors named in the said Will

and it is hereby certified that an Inland Revenue affidavit has been delivered wherein it is shown that the gross value of the said estate in Great Britain
(exclusive of what the said deceased may have been possesed of or entitled in as a trustee and not beneficially) amounts to £8088:2:0
and that the net value of the estate amounts to £7956:10:0
and it is further certified that it appears by a receipt signed by and Inland Revenue Officer on the affidavit that £319:0:0 an account of estate duty and interest and such duty has been paid.

Dated the 11th day of July 1961

This is the last will of me PATIENCE ADELAIDE SEARLE of 32 London Road Camberley Surrey Widow which I make this Twenty Second day of November One thousand nine hundred and fifty six
1. I REVOKE all former Wills and testamentary dispositions at any time heretofore made by me
2. I APPOINT DOUGLAS GRAHAM CARMICHAEL Solicitor of Camberley Surrey and my two sons ARTHUR JAMES SEARLE and RONALD SAMUEL SEARLE (hereinafter together call "the Executors") to be the Executors and Trustees of this my Will
3. I GIVE AND BEQUEATH my jewellery and clothing and personal possessions to my three daughters LOUISA ADELAIDE SEARLE EMILY KATHLEEN BROWN AND ANNIE MAY PERRY in equal shares absolutely
4. I GIVE AND BEQUEATH all my furniture and articles of household use at 32 London Road Camberley to my said daughter LOUISA ADELAIDE SEARLE
5. I GIVE AND BEQUEATH
to my grandson GILBERT ARTHUR SEARLE my share in Bagshot Sawmills Limited and my share in Landford Timber Company Limited
6. I GIVE DEVISE AND BEQUEATH all my real estate and all the residue of my personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever situate unto my Executors upon trust (after payment thereout of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses and all duty payable on my eestate) to sell call in and convert the same into money with power to postpone the sale calling in and conversion thereof so long as they shall in their absolute discretion think fit without being liable for loss and as that income of my real leasehold and personal estate howsoever constituted or invested shall as from my death be treated as income and that a reversionary or future interest shall no be sold prior to falling into possession unless my Executors shall see special reason for such earlier sale and that the net rents and profits of my real and leasehold estate for the timebeing remaining unsold after payment thereout of all outgoings which my Executors shall consider to be properly payable out of income shall go and be applied as if the same were income authorised investments of the proceeds of an actual sale thereof
7. MY Executors shall hold the net proceeds of the said sale and conversion and my ready money upon trust to pay the income thereof to my said daughter LOUISA ADELAIDE SEARLE for life and after her death in trust for my children the said ARTHUR JAMES SEARLE RONALD SAMUEL SEARLE EMILY KATHLEEN BROWN and ANNIE MAY PERRY and my grandson ANTHONY SEARLE in equal shares absolutely provided that if any of them shall have died in her lifetime leaving issue living at her death such issue as and when they attain the age of Twenty One years of marry under that age shall take by substitution and if more that one in equal shares per stirpes the share of my residuary estate that such deceased child or grandchild would have taken had he or she survived my said daughter LOUISA ADELAIDE SEARLE
8. ANY
Executor of this my Will being a Solicitor or other person engaged in any profession or business maybe so employed and shall be entitle to charge any professional or other charge for any business or act done by him or his firm in connection with the Trusts hereof including acts which and Executor could have done personally
9. IN making this will I do so being as fair as I can having regard to the various needs of my children. I hope that they will continue to live in harmony together and I wish them every success and happiness
IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name the day and year first before written.

32 London Road was in Blackwater, Camberley. There is a parade of shops here - they may have been built in the 1950's or maybe a little later. Opposite this parade of shops, there is now a Lidl store and an old pub, originally called the Red Lion but now called Mr Bumble.
