Note

William and Sarah's marriage was witness by James Hone and William Glashier. William Glashier had married Mercy Eacott on 1 June 1806 in the same church (see William and Sarah's marriage record, it's on the same page). Could Mercy have been William's sister? The name Mercy seems to run in the family.
