At the time of this census, Josiah and Edith lived with Josiah's widowed mother, Ellen, in a gypsy tent. Josiah's birth place is recorded as Hurst, which is in the Wokingham registration district. The 1891 census sees his birth place recorded as Waltham St Lawrence (Laurence Waltham as it says!), which is in the Cookham district.
