Note
This information came from Cecelia Dutton. However, Derek Westcott has Henry's wife as Jane Cridge.
From the census information I have gathered the following:
1841 - aged 45 - Wife = Jane (found death index Mar qtr 1849)
1851 - aged 55 - Wife = nobody - widowed
1861 - aged 66 - Wife = Sarah (found marriage index Jun qtr 1851)
1871 - aged 76 - Wife = Sarah
1881 - aged 86 - Wife = nobody - widowed
With refernce to the marriage to "Sarah" in 1851, her surname was either Duddridge or Sydenham. I have ordered the certificate to confirm this either way!
