Note

The inscription on Diana's headstone reads "Diana Victoria James wife of William" who was buried on 12 January 1890. I have established that Dianah Gregory was also know as Ann/Diana/Victoria etc. and also used the surname James throughout her life with William and it is only in William's will that she is referred to by her true name of 'Gregory'.
