Note

The 51st Regiment of Light Infantry served in many places (see this link: http://www.napoleon-series.org/military/organization/Britain/Infantry/Regiments/c_51stFoot.html), but the year that Mark lost his arm and was consequently discharged from the Regiment, they served:

1813: Miemento; June – Zamorra; VITTORIA; Dońa Maria; Echalar; NIVELLE; Yatxo; St Pierre

His Majesty's 51st Regiment of Light Infantry whereof General William Morshead is Colonel.
These are to certify that Mark Hodges Private in Captain Darling's Company in the Regiment aforesaid home in the Parish of Kenwon (should by Kenwyn) - in the Town of Truro in the County of Cornwall, hath served in the said Regiment for the space of Eight years and 296 Days as likewise in other Corps according to the following Statement, but in consequence of ~ an amputated arm from wound at Victoria ~ is considered unfit for further service is hereby discharged, having first received all just Demands of Pay, Clothing Ec. from his Entry in to the said Regiment to the Date of this Discharge - as appears by the Receipt on the Book hereof (Except one just of Regimental Clothing, due for the year 1815 (or 1813?).
And to prevent any improper use being made of the Discharge by its falling into other Hands of the following is a Description of the said Mark Hodges - He is about Twenty Six years of Age, is five feet ten inches in Height, Brown Hair, Grey Eyes, Sallow Complexion, and by trade a Labourer.
